Journey & Master Plumber Exam Prep
Available in person or via Zoom upon request
This course is designed for plumbers who believe that they are really good at their job and are ready to take it to the next level.
If you have not been through a formal apprenticeship program then you are probably not ready for this examination. According to the DLLR records, only 38% of all those taking these exams are passing. Clearly, this is a tough examination that requires a lot of preparation and dedication in order for you to be successful.
Course Description
There are two paths that you can consider for this training.
Option 1: Group Class
This will be a group class with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 8 students. The class will meet 1 day each week for three consecutive weeks.
We will break down the exam for you so you will know what to expect when you are ready to apply. Remember, the Maryland examination is both plumbing and gasfitting. Many applicants are not prepared for the gas portion of the exam.

Option 2: Private Instruction
This is private instruction that is one on one personal attention for anyone who is more comfortable with this approach. We will work together for 1 1/2 hours one day a week for 10 weeks.
Each week I will give you a challenging assignment to complete on your own. You must be very dedicated to this program in order to be properly prepared for the Journey or Master Plumber / Gasfitter examination.
